Pioneer was a high-stakes product launch event, with highly-specific requirements. Seamless brand integration was critical.
The initial selling-point was that Intercom’s in-house Creative team could have a massive amount of control and input on the feel and branding of the registration experience for Pioneer. This included the design of emails, landing pages, and language during the registration process.
As the campaign went on, we were able to meet Intercom’s needs in other ways by implementing advanced features including custom secret URLs for allowing reps to send invitation links to prospects, and UTM parameter tracking.
One of the most exciting pieces was a one-click attendee hub feature: a personalised page for each attendee containing all of the essential information that they needed on the day, completely consistent with Intercom’s brand, and meticulously designed to their specification.
All-in-all, this felt like a win-win partnership. We used our many years of experience with building registration and check-in software, combined with our embracing of the modern web to quickly respond to the Intercom team’s needs as the campaign progressed.
